Rev. Diane House graduated from UW-Stout, Menomonie, WI in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Science. She then attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN and earned her Master of Divinity Degree in 2007. She was ordained in September of 2007 after accepting a call to Big Drywood Lutheran Church in Cadott, WI where she served as pastor until 2012. At that time she accepted a call to serve Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Glenwood City.
Pastor Diane is married to George House, a retired radio broadcaster. They have two daughters and three grandchildren. She has many interests including performing in plays, singing in choirs, reading and bird watching. But most of all, she is passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God with all people.
Pastor Diane serves the larger ELCA by serving on committees of the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin including the Candidacy Committee and Justice Task Force. She is also one of the synod's Congregational Resource Leadership Team members.
